July 25th, 2010 - 17th Sunday of Ordinary Times
Don't forget to check
out the Calendar
for dates of events or mass times. We try to keep this calendar up
todate.
Please Remember...
Mass will be at St. Mary's on the 5th Saturday, July 31st due to the
parish picnic. In October, we will then have mass at St. James on the
2nd Saturday before their Fall Festival, instead of St. Mary's.

is required. Confirmation instructions will be weekly every Wednesday
from September to May. After July 1, 2010 it is $20
per student.

Those who do not register for Confirmation classes and who have not
attended PSR, will have to wait until 2013 to be confirmed.

St. Mary's Picnic 2010... Our

plan to help out on this day. Please start working on items for the
Fancy Stand. Remember to collect items for the "bottle
blast" stand and Country Store. You may brings items anytime we
will have a box in back of church for your items. Raffle tickets are
now available. We ask that every family help in our sales effort. We
have many great gifts this year. Thanks for your support. We also need
items for small raffle if you know of a business you can get a
donation from please stop and pick one of the forms on the back table
in the church.
Fall Festival 2010
... we will have our first Fall Festival planning meeting after the
10am mass on Sunday, August 22, in the Hall. We ask that all heads of
committees be present.
Special Thanks ... we thank all of those who finished the backstop
for the meat shoot on the lower field...especially Rich Gullet and Son
Construction Co. They donated the grading equipment and did an
excellent job seeding and mulching the new backstop.
Thanks for saving our parish the funds we would have paid to complete
the project.
Eucharistic
Adoration...
2010 During the six weeks of Lent, we will place a special focus on
the spiritual and physical benefits of making a HOLY HOUR before Our
Lord exposed in the Blessed Sacrament. We are seeking to fill all of
the time slots Monday through Friday, from noon until 9pm each day. We
are less than half-way there. Hopefully, many will choose to take up
this holy and edifying spiritual activity. May we grow closer to Our
Lord in 2010, through Adoration of Him in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
We are getting closer to our goal, we just have a few more spots to fill.
